    CCleaner disc wipe

    CCleaner's most recent update has a free space disc wipe checkbox in Cleaner. What, in detail, does this do?

    I believe it wipes the free space you currently have, so that it can't be recovered from any recovery program (ie: Recuva,etc).

    It takes quite a while-especially if you have a large drive with a lot of free space.
