if you wont disable windows error reporting it could erase all your docs+desktop files when doing disk cleanup :)

Now if only they made a CCleaner that did the job just as quick and easy, but for bathrooms. :)

McGrady > Any idea with that windows error reporting option? I tried it on a vista and xp system, and it indeed messed up the desktop as Sagara mentioned... I have no idea why / what is happening though. And I noticed that option is *not* selected by default. so may be it was not selected by default, *for some reason*???? Any inputs mate?

Windows Error Report is "Problem Reports and Solutions" in Vista. Basically when one of your apps crash unexpectedly it gets sent there, and that's sent to Microsoft so they can find a fix. You can clear it manually by opening it up, but with Ccleaner, it will just clear that for you if you have a problem there. Personally, I checked it, and ran it, and everything is fine...I'm not sure of the problem you and Sagara got.

Yeah McGrady, I understand this.. and even with a disk cleanup from within Vista we have the option to clear the windows error report files.. But I have no idea with CCleaner. Though I must mention, I uninstalled CCleaner and reinstalled in 'my' laptop this morning, and its fine... no problem with the desktop or whatever that I saw yesterday... I don't know.

    Thanks anyways, McGrady.
