    Hi
I'm running 64 bit Windows 7 Professional on my notebook and have Chrome and CCleaner installed. I'm using the latest version of each - Chrome v16.0.912.77 & CCleaner v3.15.1643. Unfortunately when manually running ccleaner it still leaves traces of my chrome browsing history behind. Apparently this is a well known issue which many chrome users have been experiencing for a while now but i can't seem to find any solution. Just wondering has anybody else experienced this and managed to fix it?

    FYI Chrome is installed at
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe

    CCleaner is installed at
    C:\Program Files\CCleaner\CCleaner64.exe

    Cheers :)

You could always 'go incognito' on your chrome browser, this way it wont keep any history.

I think you have to kill Chrome the with task manger processes in order to thoroughly clean.
