DetlveCM, if not mistaken, you didn't use any Registry Cleaner since Windows Vista/7 right?
I already have my CCleaner updated before OP posted this head-up.

Thanks for the update, I wonder if it's worth an immediate download. -
now that 'millions' of people are really using Win7, I would expect that utilities like ccleaner will have frequent updates until things get fully debugged and stabilized.

If I use one, then I check every entry and only select the ones that I recognize from a recently unistalled programme.
Sayng that - its been a long time since I used one.
If you ran the CCleaner one you'd find a few entries - also those "coded" ones.
I really suggest not to use one except with the specific aim of tackling keys from a unistalled programme.
