    Hello,

Apologies if this is posted in the wrong thread, I'm not too certain what the problem is so any help would be most appreciated.

I've got an Acer TravelMate 8215WLMi which I recently upgraded to Windows Vista using the Acer upgrade disk.

At first, I didn't have a problem but now I get an error when Vista loads. I get a popup window with the following error message but have searched on google and can't find out what it means or how to fix it:

"Retrieving the COM class factory for component with CLSID {D9C30395-F423-88F7-6EA78F2026B4} failed due to the following error: 80040154."

I can use the OK button to close this message and then it doesn't appear again until the next time I switch the laptop on.

    Any ideas what's gone wrong?

Thanks in advance for your help,

    Katiesam
