I just got my Sager NP8662 in June. I've got a good cpu, enough ram, etc.

All of a sudden in the past couple weeks, it's become really sluggish. I'm not really sure why, because I've only installed a few games (GTA4, Call of Duty, etc.) and not much else.

I'm running Vista Ultimate x64 and I've done all my Windows Updates, as well as run Advanced SystemCare, Smart Defrag, etc. and nothing is helping.

I ran a test on PCPitstop and it's saying my CPU is running about 1/3 of what it's supposed to, and my ram is running 1/2 of what it's supposed to. My CPU is almost always working at 100% or somewhere near there, and my RAM seems to be eaten up all the time. However, it seems that I don't have any spyware or anything, and I've gotten rid of startup programs.

Any suggestions? I'd rather not format right now, so are there any good diagnostic programs to run? Thanks.

Task Manager or preferably Process Explorer would be a start. Let the system idle and look at the cpu load and memory usage columns to find out which process(es) are sucking up your resources.
