    Hey there!
I've recently become interested in monitoring the cpu and gpu temps of my Acer TM 3220 WXMI, which has a PM740, 512MB RAM, ATI x700 64MB etc. I'm running XP pro btw. I've tried some different utilities for displaying temps, including MobileMeter, however this shows me nothing but "APCI needs to be activated in order to access cpu temp". What does this mean? I really want to be able to check the temp of my system, as I'm thinking of undervolting it to get it cooler. Now the fan noise is ok, but a bit too much... Help me plz!
    /Carl

    Hi i01kaca,

Everest is able to read CPU, GPU, GPU ambient and HD temp on my comp. Beware, sometimes most of the sensors are blocked. No harm in trying though. If you are interested in OC, undervolting, heat and many other stuff, check my signature.

    Cheers,

    Hey,
thanks for the tip. However, Everest just lets me access one sensor - the one for my main HDD. Is this a dead-end, or is there any other way to measure the temps of my CPU and GPU in reasonably simple manner?

I think that is it. Sensors are most probably blocked. Did you try NHC? It can show CPU and HD temp.

    Cheers,
