    Hey,

I've been getting CPU being really busy for about 20 seconds and nothing in the task manager is showing as using that much..(looking at the processes page). What could it be?? It does this every few hours or so.

Could it be you are running as a standard user and the process that is using the CPU time is hidden (you need to click Show processes from all users)?

What operating system are you running? What applications do you have installed? You need to provide more information about your configuration.

Thanks BlinkNR, that's what it was, I needed to have that little checkbox checked. Turns out it was AVG antivirus.
