Has anyone fixed this issue? I have enabled it in the options section however it's just not happening.

Go to MSconfig and check your startup items. If it's unchecked, then check it. Hopefully then it will load a startup. If not, you can try doing a clean uninstall/reinstall of it.

Enlighten me why would you use CPUGenie and what is it's purpose in the first place? I know I can do searching but if your asking you should provide some info as to why and what your using it for? And also as other noted make sure it is compatible with x64 as it sometimes bulks at bad programs.

Even if it's a 32-bit program, it should work - maybe with reduced functionality, but still.

"CPUgenie is an application which allows users to manage their computers in order to increase their performance".

It's basically a tool to underclock/adjust the CPU voltage for battery life.

    *Update*

I can't find a website for the developer - which really makes me question the reputability of the software. Also, in all the system requirements I could find (which was omitted in a lot of mirrors providing a description for the download), Windows 7 was not listed, and even Softpedia I believe didn't list any CPU above Core 2 series.
