I started up Steam today and launched CS 1.6. It launches it and it opens up to that title menu with the Find Servers, Friends, Create Server screen. Then instantly, it crashes to the desktop. I'm not even sure if it crashes because I am not getting an error message, it just goes black and then minimizes the the desktop but the application has closed out. CS Source working fine however. I havn't done anything different. I was playing fine last night. I havent changed anything on my computer since then. Its really weird. Any ideas? I tried launching the game many many times, even on different accounts...but the same thing happens. Any ideas?

i had the exact same problem, here's what you do

go to launch options, and set launch options or commands, type in

    -w800 -soft

tell me if it works or not
