i am going crazy. can someone please help me?

the above mentioned combinations don't work. ctrl+c and ctrl+v work just fine.

it's not the keyboard because i've also connected a usb keyboard to my laptop and same problem.

when I stroke the keys i get the annoying windows "ding".

those combos work just fine in other programs. in word ctrl+a will move the cursor in the middle and back.

i have also reinstalled office with no luck. i never had this problem before. i am on vista 32.
