This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Can Dell 600m use 98se ? Can't find Drivers

    I installed 98se on my Inspiron 600m along with xp pro and have not been able to find drivers for video or cd/dvd. If anyone has done this, please let me know how... I've got some equipment with rs232 interface that only runs on pre NT OS. The Dell salesman didn't see any problems with doing it but they couldn't provide my LT with dual-boot installed. Now Dell says they can't provide drivers for 98!

    NEC DVD+-RW ND-6650A [CD-ROM drive]
    ATI MOBILITY RADEON 9000 [Display adapter]

    Has anyone got a good driver source where I could find these?
