Hey guys, quick question. I have Windows 7 Home Premium installed on my Alienware M17 right now, on the 30-day trial. Can I pop in my home-made any-version W7 install disk and UPGRADE to Professional and keep everything the same?

the disc will not let you go from premium to pro. you need to use the anytime upgrade, use a reg hack, or reinstall to go to pro

As far as I know, you only need the key, unless you're adding features. Just use the Anytime Upgrade and use your Win7 Pro key.
