I have a whole color system that works well for me when using and setting calendar events.
Id like to be able to apply the same system to flagging emails.
Is this possible or am I forced to only use gradients of red?

1) It doesnt seem like you can actually have different color flags-rather, you can add a "category" column next to the flag column and then add any color category you want.
The problem with this is that you only see the color all the way on the right hand side and not "through" the email subject like you do with flags (the text will actually turn red)
2) If it is not possible to change the actual subject text to another color, how do I add the "categories" column to my inbox view so that I can at least see that little bit of color?♦ -
You can't change the flags, you must use the categories.
You can click on the categories box and click on all categories where you can rename and assign different colors. -
How do I see the category I have chosen in the Inbox view?
Isnt there a way to display the category color right next to the flag column?
Edit: scratch that; found it.
Can I change the email flag color in Outlook7?
