I want to buy a Dell Inspiron 1520 in Austria but as I can see it on the online store the OS Vista is only on German. Is it possible, if I order by phone to get it on English????????????????????????????????????????????????

And also the keyboard, it is QWERTZ, can it be changed to QWERTY.

You have to call them and ask. Over here in Japan, they said I can’t get the English OS , but I could get the English Keyboard (instead of the default Japanese one).

    Check your PM.

If you order or upgrade to Ultimate, you can take advantage of the windows update, where are all the languages are available for download. From there, download your desired pack, and poof! Vista in English.

This is one of the ways. But sometimes upgrading to Ultimate, ur better off to buy a new Home Premium. My 2 cents.

I never order Dell online, because calling them usually leads to bigger discounts. I would recommend calling them and sort out the language issues and also ask them for a discount while you're at it.
