Can I make WMP 11's Mini Mode blend with XP?

Can I get the Mini-Mode to display with a nice shiny silver background instead of the black one? The black one goes fine with Vista and Royale Noir, but rather clashes with my nice Luna theme. The 9 Series Mini Mode was perfect; WMP 10 is not bad but really goes with Royale more than Luna.

Had to upgrade from 9 Series (my all-time favorite) to 10 for a music service, and it hasn't been working all that great :(. The play/stop/pause buttons don't always match what's playing, and sometimes after I close it the music keeps playing in the background until I close the process from Task Manager. I think I know why they released WMP 11 for XP as well as Vista .

Tried installing WMP 9 on top of WMP 10 but it detected it and exited, oh well.

WMP 10 also prompts me for a MSN dial-up connection I don't even have whenever I start it, any way to turn this off? Haven't found anything under preferences. I've already got a perfectly good DSL connection.

Have you tried uninstalling WMP 10 in the add/remove windows components? After doing that, then you can install WMP 9.

Also go into your network connections and see if MSN is listed. If it is, then right click and disable.
