I am using windows 10 which was installed from scratch, not from an update. However, I want to get back Windows Photo Viewer as my default viewer

I read an article there, but it involves downloading some files that are unfriendly to me like DLL or registry files. I don't know if there is any hack inside that would implement virus into my computer

Can I trust anything on howtogeek? Are their articles written by trusted parties?

Or just a more simple question - How to get back Windows Photo Viewer as my default for windows 10 in a more legitimate way?

    Thank you.

Yes that method works fine. Use it all the time from there.
