I'm building a chinese XP for my friend. he currently has a partitioned HDD, 20GB or so to XP. Since I allocated a 8GB virtual drive for the VMXP install, can I "ghost" this install onto a real 20GB partition? will ghost take a snapshot of this XP as being only 8GB or does it take a snapshot of only the space used?

    Will this work?
I plan to swap his HDD in or connect it through a USB enclosure, and ghost the image on.
