Hi,
I have a PC running a 32 bit OEM copy of Vista Ultimate.
Anyway I wanted to know if I could use that CD Key for a 64 bit Vista OEM install?
According to this thread below I can however wondering if anyone knows whether this is actually possible?
I was going to download an ISO of 64 bit Vista Ultimate and install it and then register it using my paid for 32 bit Vista Ult CD Key but I want to check before I do.
I know it's pushing the boundaries of software "ownership" but it seems logical enough to ask the question.

I have HP Dv27xx notebook & it came with 32Bit OEM Vista HP pre installed .I recently upgrade my ram to 4Gb & now i wanted to install 64Bit OEM Vista HP.
So basically this mean i can use 32Bit OEM key to work/activate 64Bit OEM version right? -
There are no 64bit ISOs legally available though, unless you have MSDN or something from MS.
BTW, those ISOs could easily be cracked and hacked up...make sure you get it from an MS authorized source. -
Got a hold of a 64bit disc and switched to 64bit using orevs guide. Never looked back since.
Can I use the same CD Key Vista 32 Bit OEM on Vista 64 Bit OEM
