    Can Some Body Tell Me How To Turn On The Horizontal Touchpad Scroll?

    I Have A Compaq V3228au.
    I Had To Reinstall The Os Last Week.
    Since Then My Horizontal Touchpad Does'nt Work.
    Although The Vertical One Is Still Working.

    Ca Anyone Help Me..............

    Have you installed the touchpad drivers/utility?

    Look on Compaq's website.

    You might just need to go into the touchpad settings and enable it (or adjust the settings). It does not necessarily install already enabled. Keep in mind that while the horizontal scrolling should work in Internet Explorer and most recent MS software, it may not work in other software, and it may or may not work in Firefox and other third party software (for that, you may have to download and install a latest driver from the touchpad manufacturer's site (but if so, it's possible that it will "break" something else if it's not a driver provided with the laptop by the laptop's manufacturer). Laptops tend to be finicky like that.
