Even at 18x, if I keep the laptop on for a long time -- I left it on a certain page for more than 2 hours -- (the neighbour came in), it just got a BOSD after enabling the laptop again (no restart, just opening the last page). After the restart, it went on working quite well for more than an hour (still working). I think, I should put it off and do the thermal paste and report back. It'd take few days to get the thermal paste. Using TS multiplier is making the CPU to run at certain Mhz all the time. Maybe (I hope) it'd change its behaviour after applying the thermal paste. The back cover, which is of some sort of a metal, never gets warm, even when the laptop is charging. I think the heat the CPU doesn't get dissipated through the back cover. After watching few You tube videos on fanless laptops, I think that there's no connection of the heatsink with the back cover. I'll open the laptop, when I get the thermal paste.Mr. Fox likes this.

The battery is very good.
All drivers are up to date.
Windows update is up to date. Microcode is up to date.
BIOS cannot be changed, except reset, which I had done.
Memtest had been done, everything is okay. SSD is alright (tested). I've done DISM too. -

Sorry, I didn't understand what is Dumo. I am a bit of a noob in Windows. Here is the screeny with all drivers to be updated.
The manufacturer's drivers are old and they have not updated them. I'll try to update the Intel drivers from Intel tomorrow. (too late now.)

Download Win 10 21H2 with the linked tool below and use Rufus to create an USB ISO. Install and let Windows update the drivers. Then run some tests with wished software. The laptop should work as expected if there isn't any real HW flaws. Another option is to clean install Win 10 then install only chipset / igpu / mei drivers. Then test it without innstalling the remaining drivers.
Win 11 is still in Beta. Never jump on the latest and greatest before you are force to do so. New doesn't always mean better. Rather filled with bugs that will remain so at least 6 months after release.

Please send link. I've no idea where to get these drivers, or understand much about them.
What is uncore ratio? Nothing in BIOS can be changed, except the boot order, disable/enable secure boot, etc. Cannot change anything in the CPU workings. They are not even shown. I have resetted BIOS to the factory defaults.Last edited: Jan 3, 2022 -

Removed TS, rebooted, and resetted BIOS. Within 2-3 minutes BSOD happened and laptop restarted. To write this, had to enable TS.

SDI Tools state that the drivers are up to date. dynamic -intel driver update through dpinst_X64.exe says there's nothing to update. Maybe, I'd simply open it, when I get the thermal paste. I'd have to disconnect the battery, which would, I hope, reset the BIOS to factory settings. If nothing helps, I'll leave TS enabled, running at 1.1GHz. I just want to give it to a kid to learn how to use, so at least if it works for year or so, would be nice.

Thank you very much for your help!

Yes, I know, I've not won yet. But still, thank you for your help!
In the meantime, Intel had installed - Display - 30.0.100.9837 and Extension - 27.20.100.9466
The laptop is working without TS for a while, that is for the last 5 minutes.
PS: It worked well for 2 hours and 10 minutes, but after a slight idling (about 10 mins) it got a BSOD and a restart. And, BSOD happened 2 more times within 2-3 minutes. Enabled TS.Last edited: Jan 3, 2022Vasudev likes this. -
After the last BSOD, I cleanly uninstalled the igfx drivers, and reinstalled the 1191 latest, as suggested. I'm using the debug-mode power plan. It is 19:00 now, and would test it for another restart, without TS enabled.
PS: worked till 24:00 without a problem. Shutting it down.

An old version of Thtottlestop is very rarely causing BSODs on my laptop (in rwdrv.dll). Contacted Unclewebb who advised upgrading to the latest version. The only way I'm aware of to conclusively diagnose a BSOD source if it's not directly reported by Windows (it almost never is?), is to analyse the memory dump using WinDbg which provides the answer directly.
-
This problem was solved by @NeXt3R, an excellent person!
Can Throttlestop to be used stop BSOD?
