Hey, can Vista home premium play any games like Warcraft, Ragnarok, Counter Strike, etc ? Thanks alot guys !![]()
-
you can play pretty much all the same games as you did with xp or w/e other os you used to have...your fps may be lower than usual but thats just a driver issue.
-
I do play F.E.A.R & FarCry on my laptop with Vista Home Premium and it works like a charm !!!
-
Vista isn't what decides if a laptop can play or not...the graphics card does. What laptop and card to you have?
-
wow ...vista has a real bad image ...people actually think it can't play counter-strike...
Infact DX10 works on vista only....XP rumours are false -
Vista won't play any games. You should be playing the games!
-
i meant run...run*
-
That's not what he meant, he meant what games it can run. Also, like everyone else said, you can play pretty much all the games you could on xp but it may be at a slower fps.
-
I think he was kidding, Calvin.
-
Oh, i guess so. I thought he really meant it.
-
Yup, XP DX10 was, and will always be the same as the rumored DX9.0L. It allows you to play DX10 only applications under DX9.0. In no way it is gonna DX10 rendering
-
I was really kidding as told by NN.
-
Well coolguy unless it's on OT i suspect everything you say you mean so if your going to kid then say so.
-
I tried to open Need for speed carbon 10 demo in vista. But vista gave me an application crash message. I then changed the compatibilty mode to windows 95/98 SE and it ran without any problems.
-
OT?? what is that? I am not kidding now Calvin.

NBR Super Moderator - Thanks and Sorry.. cause im just an average user. hehehe. Anyways, i haven't gotten any laptop yet. Planning to get Hp 8510p soon, but not sure whether its out in Malaysia or not and i dont know the price >_<. Its using Ati X2600. It stated in the HP web as X2600. is it the same with 2600HD ? Thanks -
Wow...good choice on the laptop
Anyway, yes...the X2600 is the 2600HD. Actually, the X2600 name was dropped a long time ago...someone at HP didn't figure that out!
You should not have a problem playing any of those games.
