I am looking at a laptop ASUS F3 Series F3KA-X4 and for some reason I just assumed Windows vista home premium came in 64-bit because I was shopping around at other laptops and some would be labeled under OS as "Windows Vista Home Premium 64-bit" and others just as "Windows Vista Home Premium". I guess basically my question is does the computer I'm looking at run 64-bit? and is vista home premium just 64-bit? or is it 32-bit too

I can almost guarantee that, unless otherwise specified, it is the 32-bit OS. Being as the laptop has 3 GB of RAM, I doubt that they would ship it with the 64-bit. But Vista HP is more commonly shipped in 32-bit.

I guess my question would be, does it really matter? If it's 64-bit, they will supply the drivers you need, no worries. :)
Plus, you do get true 4GB RAM support.
If you do get the computer, just right click Computer -> Properties, and it will tell you what version you have. :)

True, but the reason I was asking is because I want to make sure its 64-bit so I can be ready for the future.

But basically you guys are telling me your sure its 32-bit eh?

Usually OEM's supply you with 32-bit unless you specifically ask for 64-bit. Just go to Start Menu -> Computer (Right Click) -> Properties and scroll down to "System Type", and it'll say either 32-bit or 64-bit.
If you really want 64-bit, you can probably call Asus and just ask for a copy of the 64-bit version of Vista.
