There are some email messages that I refrain from opening because, although they appear innocuous, they are unrequested advertisements and might not be safe. Someone once told me that they can be safely examined if the are moved to a virtual drive, Is this true?
I have to leave my computer for about an hour, but I'll check back when I return.

Another great option is VIPRE Antivirus plus, the moment a virus lands on your computer it will be blocked upon access if it was malicious. I receive tons of emails, go to 100s of sites daily, and not once did I get a virus.saturnotaku likes this. -

Windows Defender is more the adequate to do protection but what your asking is asking to Admin Permission and that is asking for trouble. If you didn't request or ask for that email just junk list and phish list it and remove it.
Can a virtual drive protect me from malware if I delete the involved file or the entire drive?
