Yeah, I know, I have way too much going on there. but I use the desktop at home, laptop at school,Palm and Blackberry are for the road.

I have one calendar, my personal one in Outlook (and tasks), that I would like all 4 devices to sync too so i can have that data at all times. I tried to use a Google Calendar to do this, but it seemed to hate deleting single occurrences in reoccurring events. Ended up with a LOT of duplicate items.

    Is this possible?

    Thanks!

Hmmm, syncing 3 seems easy with each individual pieces hardware, but getting the last computer is a pain...

I would get a hosted Exchange account.

This is a must read blog for getting the most use out of your mobile devices.

Outlook doesn't play well with most syncing software unfortunately, so I would suggest you use the built in Exchange support both Palm and Blackberry support.

Hmmm, can;t do that on the BB, as I'd have to switch plans with my cell provider.

But thanks, I am going to read that for a bit :D

I have into the same problem with my situation. I have a laptop, Treo an three different desktops. I use my company's Exchange account and it is a life saver. There are a few quirks I run into but it is rare. One quirk that comes to mind is Palm's Calander's "No time" events sync up as 12am events on Outlook. Otherwise, they don't double sync. And sometimes changes to reoccuring events don't sync happily with my Treo if I edit them on my desktop.

It is a more expensive option, but I think it is by far the best and only option that I know of that works with Outlook. Or you could just manually import and export your data file from computer to computer....

Yeah with the BB you need either a BIS account or a BES.

BES being a BlackBerry Enterprise Server which is mainly for businesses and as the name implies involves a server (which can basically be any machine but is recommended to be dedicated to the task of being a server).

BIS is the BlackBerry internet service, which would be the one the OP requires but if he has to change plans to get it then the only other possible way would be to use the Dekstop Manager software but afaik (and I work for a BlackBerry BES reseller/support company here in the UK) that only syncs when the BB is connected to the laptop/pc.

The question you need to be asking yourself is - will my life fail if I don't sync these devices and do I really need it?

I suspect the answer is probably no. Too many people run their lives via technology these days... ;)
