    Hello everyone i just bought my first laptop, and it came with windows media center edition 2005 , but since i have turion double core processor i am wondering will x64 find all drivers for my laptop? My laptop specs. are
    Compaq Presario V6000 , AMD Turion 64 X2 TL-50, 2 gigs ram, nvidia go 6150, 100gb hdd, and it has quickplay function, so can i install win xp pro x64 ? will it find all the drivers for my laptop? i am waiting for the answers. Thank You in advance, and sorry about my English i am new in Canada.

    In theory it will run, howevr, with Vista's release coming up quite soon, you should consider that OS. I am not sure of the drivers, however, it is almost certain that Compaq (HP) will release drivers for the notebook, so it can run properly on Vista. Hope this helps.

    go for it - planetAMD64 is a good source for almost (if not all) needed driver for ur laptop, should the manufacturer miss anything
    congrats on the laptop
