Hi,
I tried to installed Live Mesh many times during the last week and this week, and the program keep saying the same error message. The errors message is on the attachment pictures.
Anyone experience this problem can help me to fix this? Thank you.
BTW, I am using University network, and I just installed this programs files on my macbook but can't installed it on Vista.

Are you using firefox? Live mesh is not compatible with Firefox.

Live Mesh doesn't install to a browser...it's an actual standalone program like Syncplicity.

Since the OP didn't specify clearly enough where the error is generated, it could be from the compatibility issue with firefox. -

If you want to remote control computer through the browser, you have to install active x plugin which only works through IE, at least for the time being. The last time I used firefox to access live mesh, none of the features are supported. It redirected me a "browser not supported" page.
BTW.. the error you're experiencing is related to your University's proxy servers. -

Is it a legal copy of windows vista. If it is, you should not have any problems. Check and make sure you are updated with Windows update as well.
Not saying you have done anything below board. Sometimes bad copies of Vista get loose. -

So how can I fix the problem, besides dealing with my university network department?

Have you tried using a proxy server like ultrasurf and test it out? Your problem might be due to your university blocking the ports which live mesh uses.
Can not install LiveMesh
