point to, couple links or reference some good places to read about windows 8 please? I anticipate getting a laptop this year if nvidoa ever decides to a maxwell refresh and haven't even looked at windows 8 yet. I've heard mostly bad things, but it seems to be mostly ui related or things not being where there used to. The good things I've heard are people overcoming these minor issues and liking it. I am more concerned about possible driver issues and program support. I would assume if sager are selling laptops with windows 8 preinstalled I should be good to go on that front. And I guess msata/sata internal drives and any external USB drives are good? I hoping somebody has good links on tap to research. Did a couple quick searches and nothing piqued my interest. Thanks in advance.

I can't imagine why any modern hardware would have issues with Windows 8, especially considering that it's been out in the market for a while.

Anyway, if you're looking for a guide to learn how to use Windows 8, here's a primer by another NBR member: http://forum.notebookreview.com/win...crosoft-should-have-provided.html#post8965273

Of course, you can also stay in the Desktop UI most of the time (like I do), in which case most things are very similar to Windows 7.
