Someone told me to run chkdsk c: /b to find out if my hard drive needs to be replaced.

    Below are the results.

All good. When you run any cmd in WinPE or Windows recovery environement log files won't get stored to windows event viewer but you can check log files under C:\System Volume information\Chkdsk\some-file-name-by-newest-date.log
Your disk is fine. I use crystalDisk Info to keep track of bad sectors on SSD/HDD.

    I second this.

SSD-Z is a good way to see errors too, but crystaldisk info is nr uno.

SSD-Z isn't updated regularly so I use CDI these days. For SSD benchmark validations, screenshot of SSD-Z is mandatory

Is "b" similar to "r", in that it would note bad sectors and not write to them in future? I forgot about chkdsk /b. Since I don't have my commands guide in front of me, anyone help on that? My phone is about out of juice so i cant web-search it. Disregard if busy. Thanks!

/b,/r checks and marks bad sectors
