    Yes, you can, but you can't do an in-place upgrade. You'll have to do a clean install. You can still use the upgrade disc to do that though. And it's perfectly legit too.

    Here is a chart that describes different upgrade scenarios supported. Scroll to the middle of the page. :)
    So according to that, you have to do a clean install.
