So I can't access some of the music on my laptop. The filenames have turned green. Somehow they have become encrypted, I tried to go through the properties and unencrypt them but I get access denied. Any help?

If you run Windows Explorer as administrator you should be able to turn encryption off again.

    1. Right-click the file or folder, and then click Properties.
    2. Click Advanced, and then clear the Encrypt contents to secure data check box.

If this doesn't work, do you have any other users on your system? The files might not belong to you but a different user. Check the security tab under properties.

Files don't turn green or encrypt themselves for no reason.Either you accidentaly or someone else has done it.If it was you you would have been able to unecrypt them.So that leaves someone else.....
