Hi. I have an HP dv7 and the you can't change the background from stretching the pictures. When I go Right Click> Personalization > Desktop Background, there is the "Picture position" dropdown bar, but if you change it the background doesn't change, and when you click "Save Changes" and then go back, its set to "Stretch" again. It does this for all of the options. This is annoying because I want to have a slide show of pictures for my background, but they are 4:3 aspect ratio which look ugly stretched on a 1600x900 screen. I also tried plugging my laptop into my TV at 1920x1080 resolution (a lot of the pictures are from my phone, which captures at 1600x1200) to see if a higher resolution would change it, but with the same result. I also have downloaded all of the updates from Windows Update... Just a minor annoyance, but has anyone else seen this or know a way to fix it? Thanks for your help.
