I've tried searching and searching but can't find anything. I cant seem to use the tilde to open the console in vista x86 in-games like bf1942. I wasnt sure which section this belongs in, gaming or windows. But its def. a problem with vista and not the game itself. Just wondering if anyone has found a fix yet?

    Thanks,Tyler

I dont know if this works for bf but go to your shortcuts properties and add -console in the end of the target line

It's the ITECIR Infrared Driver interfering. You have to uninstall the driver in order to use the console in games. It's in the device manager under Human Interface Devices.
