Hi all, I have a Sony Vaio VGN-FZ290 with Windows Vista OS and am having some trouble installing Rosetta Stone.

When I put the first disk in I get a prompt to run "autorun" and I accept, then am taken to the opening screen and click "install" - everything seems fine and dandy...and then I get the following message:

    Error executing file.
    F:\setup.exe
    The requested operation requires elevation.

I'm not really computer savvy and was wondering if anyone could help me remedy this problem and correctly install this program. Cheers!

it means you need to run the program using administrator rights mate :D

Just explore the disk and you should find either setup.exe or install.exe
then right click it then select Run As Administrator

this should resolve the issue :D
