When I run sfc under the command prompt, I get the following error:
"Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some of them.
Details are included in the CBS.Log windir\Logs\CBS\CBS.log. For example C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\CBS.log"
I've looked at the log and it appears to be linked to two files:
napinsp.dll.mui
ikeext.dll.mui
How can I replace these files?

try this...
start --> run --> type in msconfig --> system file checker.
this only works in XP though, haven't figured it out in vista. -
I guess it's worth mentioning that I'm running Vista Home Premium SP1.

Do you have the Windows disc? You could try the System Repair feature.
Alternatively, if the files were damaged recently, you could try using System Restore. -
I don't have a recent restore point. I do have a disc that I got with my computer that says operating system, is this the same as the Windows disc?
