Basically, I tried to alter the fan speeds on my laptop using his mod... I've tried it before, and unfortunetly, it's doing the same thing it did previously.

Basically, the computer will boot, which screwed me up as I no longer can use "last known good configuration"! The computer will also boot to Safe Mode. The problem is the touchpad, keyboard, and my external mice will NOT work. I have a backup of the registery as well as a System Restore point made, but I have no way of accessing them...

Is there some way to access System Restore though command or using BartPE? I'd rather not reformat my machine again, but if I must reload, it's not that big of a deal... I loaded windows on it again about 2 days ago, so I'm still in the process of "reloading" everything on it.

What mod is "his" mod? How did you install it? What version of Windows are you using?

Without knowing any details of what you've tried to do to your computer to screw it up, this comes to mind:

Try booting into the "Minimal" safe mode configuration. You may also try booting with a keyboard attached to a USB port, which may override some internal configuration, and at least get you keyboard access. Same with the mouse, make sure it is plugged in when the computer boots. You might also try entering the BIOS (sometimes called the Setup screen) and resetting it to the defaults, in case something in the configuration somehow got corrupted.

I agree, on the BIOS setup use defaults, save and exit. Load to safe mode (f8). Delete the offending speed fan program on Add/Remove. Delete the directory where the program is installed. You can also do a system restore under Safe Mode if you want to go that way.
