Two of my Thinkpads both use windows XP. In one of them, I can adjust OSD by going to Display, Settings, Advanced, Tab "OSD...". There I can change the color of OSD. But in the other machine (new), there is no such tab as "OSD...". Does anyone know how I can find the place to adjust on screen display? Maybe from some files?

Vista systems typically have several ways you can adjust your OSD. Here are some of the most common:

    1. Right click on the Desktop, select your GPU's Control Panel, Resolution tab, then adjust your settings. Depending on the GPU CP, it may also have a separate setting for 3D and Video OSD colors. Note that there are usually individual color band settings as well as single adjustment for all 3 (if using RGB) colors.

    2. Control Panel - Color Management
    3. Control Panel - GPU Control Panel (e.g., NVIDIA Control Panel, etc.)
    4. Control Panel - Windows Mobility Center (if configured for OSD color - it usually has at least Brightness)
    5. Control Panel - Personalization (allows you to do a lot of different OSD setting changes)

CyberVisions: my machine uses XP, not Vista.
