Basically wat happened was i decided to take my lappy w/ me to class today, tried to start it up in class, get some error saying some file is missing, i have to reinstall the file. ok, no prob, wait till i get back to my dorm, put in the windows xp installation cd type go into repair, try to choose C:windows and it asks for the admin password. type in the password i use on my comp. (which is an administrator account) and it wont accept it. wtf am i sposed to do? if i cud just get into repair i could fix the boot section and be on my. Is there some admin password im not aware of?

It might be talking about the password for the administrative user (the one Windows sets up during the install). If you didn't set up a password during the installation, just leave it blank and see if that works.

I second night_2004's suggestion, leaving it blank works a lot of the time. :)

BTW, did you know Nissan doesn't make a Supra? :D

yeah, just hit enter. having a computer administrator level account is not the same as the administrator account.

Did you try "blank" as the password while trying to fix windows?
