This is a legit posting this time I hope. I for some weird and wonderful reason cannot get rid of the Laptop asking
for a Password on reboot / awake out of sleep. What's strange about this, is that it is not constant.
Here's what I've done so far - I've typed in Netplwiz and unchecked "users must enter a username and password
    to use this computer."
For a bit that seemed to work, but upon installing updates, it now keeps asking me for this. In Netplwiz, I see two
usernames. When I uncheck either of these, it is still asking me to put in a password for this supposedly to work.

But apparently I'm missing something, so maybe someone can get me through this so that I've not to enter a
password each time I boot up the machine. I'll look forward for your kindly help. Thanks!
I should add, that I have two usernames in this User Accounts. One is called HomeGroupUserS under Username and directly to the right of that it is called HomeUsers under the name Groups. I've another one with my name there.

If you look online there are links that will help you boot in Admin and that should allow you to reset the password. Otherwise if those hints don't work you might have to resort to taking it to a shop to figure a way to remove the passwords. There are shops that will help with BIOS and windows password but they do cost some money to do so if the Admin account is lockout.

Try this - control panel - user accounts - remove your password
power options - change plan .. - change advanced... - expand the plan name - require a password on wake up

NOTE for any lurkers I do not recommend doing this, I always use a password to get into windows. ;)

Just curious was or is your computer part of a Domain?

Did what you advised earlier tonight Josea, so this should fix the problem. The Neplwiz really does not do the trick. One can reboot the machine a dozen times and it will not ask for the Password and then right out of the blue, it does. But as stated, I unchecked the *require a password on wakeup* and obviously it did the trick.
And nay, the computer is not part of a Domain. Thank you for coming in on this with your excellent advice!!! :)
