This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Can't import from Outlook to Windows Live Mail

    I cannot use File > Import to migrate my Outlook 2003 .PST file to Windows Live Mail.

    Error Message: "Messages cannot be imported from the MAPI client."

    I've already tried searching, but most of the common solutions don't apply to my situation.

    this will sound odd, but try importing your email from OUTLOOK, into OUTLOOK EXPRESS, and then from OUTLOOK EXPRESS into WINDOWS LIVE MAIL
