    Can't install 3ds max 2010

    I have windows 7 home premium and I'm having trouble installing max 2010. I downloaded from autodesk site (I also asked them this question but they are useless) and got an installer.exe file.

    When I ran it (as an admin too), a pop up window came up for like less then half a second then disappeared then nothing happens.....

    I honestly have no idea what to do. any help? Maybe u guys can help unlike the useless forums they have at autodesk.

    Whats cool is they offer you a 6 or 12 month license if you are a student. That owns :)

    edit - Ok, I looked again and that pop up menu that appears really fast says "connecting.....)

    edit - the installer.exe is 500kb, is that the problem? Where can I dl the real exe installation disk?

    Ok, I'm pist. Why are the people at autodesk so incompetent?

    Here is my conversation with them in the forums.

    Why the hell is this so freak en complicated to get an exe file.
