I have a HP NX5000 notebook. I've replaced the hard drive and XP Home won't complete installation. After it formats, it gets to the point of loading the files, I get an error message that XP can't load a file, and I get two options...
    1. Press enter to continue, but XP won't work properly
    2. Press f3 to quit.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks

I would run a Memtest, other possibility is either the installation CD is corrupted, or your hard drive is (still) failing

    cheers ...
