Can't log into windows live or email

I am 100% positive that I am using my correct username and password. I've resetted my password many times to something very easy just to see if I'm able to log in but it still says that I've used the wrong password. I can't even log into my damn hotmail either. I do not have any viruses or malware and nobody ever accesses my computer except me.

 

You wouldn't have caps lock on by any chance? Or num lock off?

 

Qraduple checked everything. This is a disaster. I have the write up to a huge project saved on my email and it's due in 2 days.

I never go on sketchy websites, I never try to blackmail or cause any type of online trouble, why would a hacking try to target me? I keep everything secure and update windows so why would this crap be happening just today?

Yes. Otherwise I wouldn't have been able to reset the password which I did.

 

Tried clearing your browser's cache and cookies? Restarted the browser? What browser are you using?

*Could* be something that simple, never hurts to give it a try.

 

Didn't work. The problem was originally the password being incorrect on windows live messenger even though it was correct.

Yes. Still doesn't work.

 

Eww, and reseting it makes not change.... that's odd.

It does sound like a glitch on their side.

 

Have you entered your email and password into any strange websites lately?
Its definitley possible you've been the victim of a phishing website.

 

are you using Firefox 3.6 by any chance when you try and log in via the web?

 

Please note that this is also happening with live messenger. The same incident occured a couple of years ago with an older email that I still never gotten back.

Nope. Haven't logged in, registered or visited any strange sites since forever.

I've tried ff 3.6 and ie 8.0.7.
