Probably a crappy Firefox update (Mozilla recently released 3.0.1 as an automatic update). Until Mozilla releases a fix, use IE (or Opera or Safari or...)

You need to clean out all the FF3 cache and log in again afterwards. If that does not work, yes the (bad) FF3 would be my first thought.

Download Firefox 2 from www.filehippo.com (you'll have to look at the previous versions of the FF pages) and reinstall (and disable automatic updates!).

This happens to me when a page hasnt completely loaded or theres an error in the page.

If you have any extensions of firefox, try disabling them

same problem on safari (it doesnt show the javascript thing coz there's no bar on safari, but still no response when i click)...but it works on IE..

so is it still a firefox 3 problem? coz yes, i did install the automatic 3.0.1 update... wat else can be the problem, especially on safari too?

EDIT: i emptied the safari cache and now it works fine on safari..

How did this get into the Linux forum? Isn't this Windows related?

Yeah, it's a Firefox issue but he's specifically using Windows so it would be better in the Windows OS forum. I see no talk of Ubuntu here.
