Can't seem to stream HD video smoothly on youtube, with Intel HD graphics - and apparently this is a common problem too.

    I use a Toshiba C660, running Windows 7 with Flash 10.2, [email protected], 4GB ram, 500GB HDD.

    Any suggestions?

If the video is completely loaded, does the issue still occur?

Any difference if you disable flash hardware acceleration?

Finally, what browser are you using?

Quicklite, can I guess that the video may play for a few seconds, then pauses, then plays ... etc. Right click the video window- (Flash) settings disable hardware acceleration. Also set local storage to at leat 10 MB. Most important, once the video starts, click pause and the progress bar will move to the right. The further it goes, the less pausing you will see. These tweaks have helped me watch videos on a slow (1Mbs) DSL connection.

I use speedbit video accelerator and it has solved this problem for you tube videos.

Using 100Mb internet atm so it's not the bottleneck. Will try disabling hardware acceleration but think have done so before, the quality suffers...
