Prior to Vista SP1 I could adjust and set my T60 screen brightness coming out of sleep mode. I would just go into properties from the desktop, select screen saver, then power options and viola there it was, Adjust screen brightness. After SP1 I can't find it anymore.

Does anyone know where I can find it or where they put it?

Do you still have your installation disc and drivers? Try to re-install these drivers and softwares related to display.

I have this problem as well. I re-installed the thinkpad power management driver, but still doesn't allow me to adjust the brightness per vista power plan.

I've read quite a few threads on other sites about the problems with Lenovo drivers not being SP1 ready. Have you checked with the manufacturer and/or any IBM forums for people with similar problems?

I suspect you guys are right about it being a power management issue. Stupid me decided to update my PM manager via Windows update.

I think i'll leave well enough alone, since my T60 is working silly good at the moment. Would hate to mess things up.

You can adjust screen brightness with fn key. fn+7-8 for me.

True but what we're referring to is setting the brightness level so that when you boot the machine or wake it up from sleep it remembers the brightness levels so you don't have to readjust any settings. :)
