I dealt with the same issue for several months on multiple PCs. Finally had enough and downgraded to version 8.5. No problems since. I suggest that you do the same.

Yes, I was aware that you had stated that it seemed to be working now. However, it will probably stop working again. Maybe tonight, maybe tomorrow, maybe in a few days. It's quite random. And when it stops working it might start working again quickly, or might keep kicking you off every 5 minutes for several days until it finally seems to resolve itself (yet) again. That was the experience I had with the latest MSN builds over approx 6 months, across multiple PCs with Vista & XP and at various locations with various ISPs. It was still occurring as recently as 3 weeks ago when I finally reverted back to version 8.5.
