My computer keeps telling me it can't search for updates, and it hasn't done any updates for 7 weeks. I have no idea why or what I did/could've done..

    The error code is: 80004002

I did some searching on this on google, and some results indicated to do a system restore...i don't know what that means, sounds bad, and I am not a computer type person, so I just want to solve this issue & move on... computer issues frustrate me !!!

    thanks!

    To do a System Restore:
Click "Start" -> "Accessories" -> "System Tools" then choose System Restore.

If possible choose to restore your PC to point in time before you noticed this problem started happening.

If that doesn't work the solutions from the forum here might help you solve the problem.
