    Hi guys,
I have an Asus G53 notebook and it has all the tickboxes checked correctly in device manager properly for each corresponding device. The problem, however it's not a big deal, while using my wired-USB A4Tech optical mouse and put the notebook into sleep mode (standby), i CANNOT awake the computer with mouse move (the red light is off under mouse), but i CAN awake the PC by mouse click just fine.

    It's funny.

Do you have any insights on this issue, as waking/awaking issues are present on Windows for ages.

    Note that, i'm using Win7 SP1 x64.

    Thanks a lot!

Do you see USB wake support in BIOS? If so enable it. You can find it in advanced section.

Hi, the USB isn't at sleep at all. The mouse can awake the computer by click but not by move. That means USB is powered on at S3 state.

I think it has something to do with A4 Tech mouse design along with how ACPI works. Some users have wanted that behaviour in the past, by default to keep their computers at sleep even accidently if touching the mouse is the case. That's only thing i guess.

Could be. Even I had to click for the laptop to wake-up on my AW 15 and I enable USB wake support and now moving the mouse works!
Although that wake support is disabled on battery acc. to Dell Specs.

Some mice wake up from their own sleep only by click, not by move.
