    Cannot run 3DMark06

    I cannot run installer of 3DMark05 in my vista system.

    When I double click the installer, for sure the system will ask for permission first for accessing this setup. I click 'Allow' then, but the system did not popup any setup for 3DMark05 to me.

    Can any expert helps me, please.

    Disable UAC and see if that helps. You can re-enable it later.

    Right click, Run as Administrator. The stupid Vista not giving you Admin rights to your own Computer causes a lot of headaches for why applications don't install.

    Install it and run it as Admin, see if that helps.

    Still remain the same issue.
    When I had click it, there have nothing popup and run.
    But my system able to run 3DMark06 installer, and also can run after installed.

    Hmm usually if I have problems with 3dmark is a specific error that I have to fix like missing open al, or a .dll file.

    If its just not installing and your under admin, I might try a different file. I just d/l mine from majorgeeks the other day and that one works well.

    Here my system run perfectly with 3DMark06, but can't even run the installer of 3DMark05.
